Our Colorado trip in July - The last week before football started for John we were blessed to be invited to spend a long weekend with my college roommate Lauren and her family on their vacation in Breckenridge Colorado. It was my first trip to Colorado and Berkeley's first trip on a plane and so much fun. The weather was absolutely amazing. The mornings were in the 30's and the high for the day was mid 70's. We walked everywhere and the mountains were beautiful. The condo that we shared had a beautiful stream running behind it and I believe the 5 boys could have played out there all day if we let them. We took one day trip to Copper Mountain and the boys went up the lift and got to zip line across the pond. The last morning the five of us went to the Saw Mill Reservoir and John and the boys went fly fishing. The water was crystal clear. Although they did not catch anything that morning it was a break taking view. John and I joked that we want to be the people who "summer in Colorado" when we retire. Hey, a girl can dream can't see. Thank you Lauren and Matt for your super hospitality and for sharing you vacation with us.
