2012 Recap part 3

July - Continued . . . Berkeley's first birthday was at our house with lots of pink, lots of food and lots of fun.  Denee' was such a huge help.  She made so many of the tissue paper poofs that we put everywhere.  Berkeley's cake was a ribbon cake.  Before John and I had kids I received an amazing Martha Stewart book that had a picture of this beautiful cake.  I always knew that if I ever had a baby girl I wanted to have that cake made for her first birthday.  It turned out great and tasted even better.  We rented a blow up bouncing slide with a pool that all of the kids loved.  Leave it to John to set the slide up so that kids could have two options on how to land in the pool.  The first option was the regular way up the steps, and the second option - which became the favorite - was by zip line.  Hudson was our traffic cop and would signal to kids when it was their turn to land in the pool.  Momo was helping out with all of the kids and was knocked into the pool by a zip liner.  She was such a sport and even had a smile for the camera.  Berkeley splashed in her water table and loved eating cake.

Waiting for her guest to arrive.

Sharing at one years old makes a mommy proud.
