Recap 2012 part 2

More of 2012 that is happiness to me -

May - this was the month of lots of first for Berkeley.  First pig tails, first real swimming in the pool, and first blowing kisses.

Muddy Buddie in Johnson city was a weekend of good friends, laughter and lots and lots of mud!!!

This big guy turned 6 and had a pirate party at the pool!

And we also had the last day of school.  It is amazing how much changes in just 9 small months.

First day of school August 2011
Last day of school May 2012
June - The boys had a lemonade stand one Saturday morning in the front yard and made $52.

Hudson fell walking to the checkout at Target and we had 4 dental visits in one week.  They were able to reattach the broken permanent tooth but it only lasted 3 months.

Berkeley started pulling up on everything.  She wanted to be where ever her brothers were.

July was one for the record books.  Boy were we busy but it was so much fun.  Berkeley spent her first birthday at Port Aransas with Mimi, Papa, Amy, Jacob and Jase.  She loved and a I mean loved the salt water.  She would crawl directly into the waves and laugh every time they hit her in the face.  Even after having three children it is still such a blessing to see something for the first time through the eyes of a child.  She could not get enough of the beach!

It is the small little things that mean the world.  Here is my happiness -

2012 Recap part 1

I have wanted to write this blog for years.  Trying to keep some type of memory of our amazing life and the wonderful things that we have done as a family.  Here are my favorites from 2012:

January - Berkeley turned 6 months and we took pictures with Brenda at the house.  We had tutus for the first time.  Pure joy and so many beautiful smiles.

February - We took Valentine pictures with the kids.  I think this is one of my favorite of Cortland.  She caught his true smile.  Berkeley was barely sitting by herself and I had to hide behind the ledge to hold her, but I still love it.

Aunt Denee' came in from California to meet Berkeley.  It was lots of fun having more girls in the house for a while.

March - We took a Sea World trip over spring break with the family, Amy and Jacob.  Cortland loved the Shamu show and the big Shamu splash, and Hudson had a blast feeding the dolphins.

The bluebonnets were beautiful.  I drove right by our old house in Schertz and took pictures off of HW 78.  The sun was so bright but at least I have a some of the kids together.

Baseball started in March.  Cortland played T-ball and Hudson played machine pitch.  Hudson's season was magical.  Going into the last game the Blue Knights were undefeated.  Hudson made a double play on third base to end the game and receive the game ball.

April- Berkeley started crawling at 8 months old and she loved going under everything.  We had two wonderful Easter celebrations at the Cone house and with the Fohn side of the family including Grandma Fohn who was 98 years old.

This is probably my favorite picture of the entire year.  To me it is a moment in time that I will always remember.  It is a feeling of completeness and family that I cherish.  It is true smiles and honest happiness.
