Sprinklers 2013

And you thought I would not be back.  This evening the kids had a ball just running through the sprinklers.  Lots of laughs and giggles.  Some of my favorite pictures this year.

Recap part 8

In November we went to Sea World with Amy, Jacob and Jase.  Cortland and Jase went to Hondo for the first time for opening deer season with the entire Fohn crew.  Hudson shot his first deer at Yancey!

The grapefruit tree in the back yard was amazing this winter.  The boys even had a grapefruit stand one Saturday and made $73 dollars selling them 3 for a $1.

Recap part 7

September was football, football, and more football.  Hudson was interested in playing football for the first time and we signed him up with the YMCA.  They had practice two times a week and games on Saturday mornings.  John was in full football mode at the junior school and then on Friday nights so on a good week I attended 5 football games.  The first time Hudson put on his uniform and walked onto the field it really made stop and realize how much he has grown up.  He is no longer a little boy.  He walked a little bit taller and I think really enjoyed the one on one time he got to spend with his dad.  I loved seeing John's face when he found out that Hudson picked John's old number 73 for his jersey.

October was Halloween costumes and the boys wanted to both be ninjas.  Denee' the super aunt made Berkeley's rainbow costume.  I think it tied for my favorite costume when Cortland was a snow cone.  We took our annual pumpkin patch pictures.  I am not sure how many more years the boys will do this for me.  The were super cranky taking pictures but loved telling Berkeley to make mean faces and love the pumpkins!

We celebrated my parents 40th anniversary in Austin.  Lots of good food and a great evening.

Berkeley started a Gymboree class every Friday.  She would scream "PLAY" when we pulling into the parking lot each week.  She loved the bubbles and climbing on everything.

Cortland played soccer in the fall and the team did great.  We even scrimmaged his old team which is now all of the girls from NPDS.  It was the best of the season to watch and I hope we make this scrimmage into a yearly tradition.

And like always the traditional cold high school football picture!  Go Mules!
